OmniTester equipment is trusted by some of the world's best-known aerospace manufacturers. Due to the high reliability demands placed on these products, high voltage isolation testing and/or AC HiPot testing, as well as arc detection, are often required to assure the integrity of conductor insulation. Series 2500 test systems offer DC and AC voltage ramping, programmable excitation levels and dwell times, and the measurement accuracy to fulfill these requirements.

The Series 2500 systems also provide error and test result logging that serve to satisfy stringent record-keeping requirements, while password protection and networking capabilities provide needed test program revision level control. Additionally, many customers find the integrated on-screen operator instructions invaluable for complex test set-ups.

One specific application example is the testing of long, complex harness assemblies for commercial aircraft. In this instance, the Omni2501 system is equipped with remote switching consoles, which serve to simplify the tester-to-product connections that would otherwise be separated by significant distances when either mounted on the harness board, or after installation in the aircraft.
