In addition to the backplane testing capability of the Omni8300, OmniTester offers telecom-specific test fixtures for use in continuity and isolation testing. These fixtures are used to provide interconnection between the tester and popular connector types used in the telecommunications industry. Due to their versatility, the units can be used with the Omni8300, or with any of our other test systems.
Fixtures are available for use with MS2 connectors, 710 connectors, and tip-and-ring
protector modules.
